Registration refusal

How to appeal an application that was refused.

Appeals process

The CIRI Admissions & Registration Board approves applicants as registrants. You can appeal the outcome of your application if:

  • Your application for registration has been refused by the Admissions & Registration Board.
  • You receive any form of placement, suspension, or removal decision related to your registration status.

The appeal will then be sent on to a separate Appeals Committee for review.

How appeals are managed

Appeal Submission

If eligible, the applicant may submit an appeal in accordance with procedures established by the Appeals Committee.

Independent Review

The appeal is considered by the independent Appeals Committee, separate from the original decision-making process.

Appeal Determination

The Appeals Committee reviews the information provided and reaches a determination in line with its rules and statutory responsibilities.
