Complaints Enforcement

Complaints relating to a CIRI registrant may be reviewed and investigated through CIRI's formal complaints and enforcement process.

CIRI's complaints and enforcement process is designed to uphold the integrity of the register and ensure that registrants continue to meet the standards, obligations and professional requirements associated with registration.

Where a complaint is received regarding a registered company, it may be reviewed by the CIRI Admissions and Registration Board (CARB), which is responsible for considering complaints relating to the register and, where necessary, applying appropriate sanctions.

Enforcement actions may be taken where a registrant is found to have breached registration requirements or other applicable obligations. The process is intended to be fair, transparent and proportionate, with companies afforded the opportunity to respond to any concerns raised during an investigation.
