How to renew your membership

Register today

You need to renew your membership every year. Renewal is quick and straightforward.

Before your registration expires, you will receive an email notification inviting you to renew. This reminder ensures you have enough time to prepare the necessary documentation and complete the process without interruption to your registration status.

Once your renewal is accepted, your registration will be updated on the CIRI register. If any issues arise during the review, the CIRI office may contact you for additional information or clarification.

1. Log in to the CIRI Online Portal

To begin, log in to the CIRI online portal using your credentials. Once inside, navigate to the renewal section of the CIF-hosted register. This is where you will update your details and submit the required information.

2. Provide Updated Information

Next, review and confirm your company information, including addresses and contact details. You must also verify that you have appointed at least one registered competent person for each division in which you operate. Additionally, confirm that your insurance, tax compliance, and other legal obligations are current and valid.

3. Submit CPD Records

As part of the renewal process, you will need to submit evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities completed during the past year. This demonstrates your commitment to maintaining professional standards and compliance with CIRI requirements.

4. Pay the Renewal Fee

Once your information and CPD records are in order, proceed to pay the renewal fee. The amount will vary depending on your registration division and organisation type, and payment is made securely through the portal.

5. Submit Your Application

After completing all steps, submit your renewal application for review by the Admissions & Registration Board. They will assess your submission and confirm whether your renewal meets the required standards.
